Please tell me Perrin and I aren’t the only ones skeptical about politics

I have to confess that with the election season already upon us, and with more than a full year to go, I’m already sharing Perrin’s skepticism about politics:

I may go into hiding for the next 13 months. I’m still suffering from lingering trauma caused by the 2012, and I just can’t go through it all again. (See you all about mid-November, 2016.)

My friends and I have been discussing when the last time we voted ‘For’ someone rather than ‘Against’ someone.

I go, I vote every time so that I feel like I have done what I could but ….. it all seems so futile. The whole system seems sad and corrupt. No one ever makes to the voting stage that I really want to see in office.

  Absolutely! I feel I’m always voting for the lesser of two evils. We haven’t seen true statesmen for a very long time, nor would we recognize him/her if we did.
